Hey has anyone here seen Beyond Virtual?

Beyond Virtual provides a low cost, royalty free, no programming required game creation experience. The powerful toolset lets you fully develop and publish your own video game.

No, I hadn't heard about it, but I will take a look as I'm currently reasearching 3d engines. I note that your $150, while clearly less than a license for Unreal or another leading engine (things out of reach for hobbyists), is $50 more than Torque and Auran Jet. A startup screen for no less than three seconds is a bit much, too.

Me, I'm currently leaning towards Ogre3d, if I can get it to do what I want. It's powerful enough for my needs (just look at Ankh) and while it seems a bit harder to use than the paid-for engines, its community is helpful.

You'll want the demo game download easier to find. I almost gave up looking for it before I found it. Is the only link to it on the movie page? That's a bit odd, isn't it?

Don't you have any other demo downloads? A trial version or some documentation would be nice. A game demo and a list of features isn't enough to get me interested.
