Hi everybody, not sure if anybody here remembers me but I am an aspiring adventure developer from way back.  My project, an Egyptian mythology themed adventure game called Near the Delta, never got past the design doc stage.  That was back in '06.

Now I'm a little bit older, and a little bit wiser (a very little bit), and I feel like I'm ready to revisit the project.  Looking back after so many years, I'm actually pretty pleased at how well the idea holds up, and now that adventure games are coming back in style there is even more incentive to pursue the project.

So, all that being said, I'm not looking to recruit a team just yet, but rather I'd like to simply rejoin the community and get a feel for how things are going and what's changed in the adventure gaming scene since I left.

Hope you all don't mind if I hang around:)

Welcome!

Let's hope you can get past the design stage this time around - that's the part that I have the most trouble with myself.

(I looked at the site in your signature btw - can't make heads nor tails of it.)
