I have a tablet somewhere but I could never get away with it It takes some getting used to, I just tried it. I don't think I could do anything of Erwin's quality, but some simple cartoon shapes are all right. I like it better than a mouse. It's also pretty old so I'm sure it's not considered up to snuff anymore. It uses a serial connection. I'm not sure I would try anything like an adventure game like that, but maybe for a little platformer or something with simple characters and cartoon trees and mushrooms and what not. The smoothing in Flash helps for some of that kind of thing. You can draw a pretty ugly circle and it turns into a perfect one. Sometimes it messes up, though. Flash has a bone feature I'd kind of like to try eventually also.

Wow Erwin that's amazing. I love the way the character's hair moves when he's walking. It looks so real. Excellent work

Looking good, but I find the head odd. If you want to keep it fixed in place, I suggest you turn it slightly towards the viewer, like you did with the police officer.

This game is looking very nice. I really like the main character walk cycle. How many frames do you have per cycle?

10 frames! That's great. I always thought 8 were the "standard" (if there is a standard). That makes walking 50 frames in total, right? (8 directions, with three of the directions flipped).
Did you sketch every frame out on paper before drawit in in ToonBoom?
Cheers and good luck!

Been doing some animation for Brett's sidekick Krod. This is a side walking animation that's almost finished: Click!

That looks great Erwin. I wish I could get my characters to walk like that. My characters walk like they're drunk and have broken hips.

Really cool work, wanted to see more so I tried entering the game's homepage but it gave me a 404 error.
