I agree. And I'm glad to see you're still working on this. I happened on your website several months ago and saw that it hadn't been updated for some time, so I thought you'd given up on it. It's such a great idea, too. Good luck, I can't wait until it's finished.

Thanks!
I still have to update my website some day. Those screenshots are very old too. I just wish I had more time for it.

There's time for that when you've finished the game.

Here's another screenshot. The room was made yesterday.
I'm quite happy with the pace in which things are going right now. I've made a lot of progress last week.

Looks hella good.
Still no character shadows, though.

How do you get such good backgrounds?
I went through your toturial and I saw how you paint your backgrounds but you did'nt say how did you design them.
As for the shadows, it will be great if you add them.
Another thing, I live in Israel so how could I buy the game from here?

Loking good, but don't show too much. We're interested in your game already, and you don't want to spoil it for us.

Thanks!
Don't worry though, I haven't shown even a quarter of all the graphics in the game
The shadow thing is something I'm not very sure of at this moment. I've experimented with a translucent eclipse under his feet, and in some situations the shadow doesn't look good, when it's overlapping things it shouldn't. (When you're too close to a wall, or other objects, for example)

Nothing is decided yet, but I'm thinking about self-publishing and accepting credit cards via PayPal. I think it's even possible to transfer money to PayPal using your bank account so you wouldn't need a credit card. Shipping the game to Israel shouldn't be a problem either. But, as I said, nothing has been decided.

Ive been using PayPal as a payment option for my Pinhead Games 3-Game CD package and it works great. I havent had any overseas shipping issues either.

PayPal sure makes life of the independent publisher a whole lot easier. Its fees are very fair too, I think.

How about making it small enough that it doesn't go beyound the character's legs. Or adjusting the walk areas... although that might be a bad choice. <_<

I felt like posting a sketch:
Development is going slow, with the heat we're having the past few weeks.
