Glad that you got a new computer, Starlite!

In defense of cities and children....  I live in the middle of the city and across from an elementary school.  When my sons attended the school, their friends used to spill over into my house to play until their parents could collect them after work.  I loved their laughter, their energy, and their wonder at things that we adults take for granted.  Though my youngest son is now a hulking teenager, I still love hearing the childrens' distant squeals and shouts as I work in my office, and my son is a constant source of happiness.  Don't get me wrong, they were not always angels.  I once found them chasing each other through the house with squirt bottles of blue dye, which got all over my books, plaster walls, and oriental carpets, and more recently, I have large splatters of fluorescent paint all over the back yard where they decided to play paint ball.

I fill the postage stamp-sized front yard of my townhouse with flowers and multiple shades of greenery and take pleasure in chatting with neighbors and passers by, strolling with their children and dogs.  In the back courtyard, I can sip coffee and watch the squirrels do their daring acrobatics on the telephone wires, and delight in the occassional brilliant red of a cardinal when it alights on the fence.  Sometimes my young college age neighbors throw parties that go on into the night and leave all of the refuse cans filled with beer bottles the next day, but I don't really mind, they're having fun.

Has there been another change? Logged on today and things look different from this end. I actually like this format better, it's more like the old style AD site.

Yes this computer is much better. It's a lot faster that's for sure. I was rendering a pic the other night and I was waiting  and waiting for it render and it was done. I couldn't believe how much faster it was. We got it for a really good price too, $297 Canadian, so imagine how much cheaper it would have been in the good old US.

I'm actually not supposed to be on the computer today, I'm having trouble with one of my eyes and I'm supposed to be resting them, but I couldn't resist. Well I'm outta here for now. Take care.

Yep, I've finally finished the new design, which I uploaded today. I'm glad you like it! Smiley

You're having trouble with your eyes? Sad May I ask what's wrong?

I do like it much better, it has the old style atmosphere about it.

Not quite sure what's happening with my eyes, it actually started the other night when I was making supper. I had put cayenne pepper in the meat and the steam hit my eyes and I could feel the powder from the cayenne pepper burning my left eye. The next day it was all swollen and crusty. I'm hoping that's what is it anyways. I've had this before but not to this extent and I don't really want to go to the doctor right now. After Xmas I'm going to go for another eye exam.

That cayenne pepper is deadly stuff, I remember years ago my husband,  his mother and I went to a bulk food store to buy some spices. I lifted the lid on the cayenne pepper and at the same time I breathe in and the pepper dust went right down my throat. I couldn't stop coughing I had to leave the store, people walking by were asking me if I needed an ambulance I couldn't tell them no, I had to shake my head, I managed to get out "cayenne pepper". I hate it when this happens because I was just starting to work on a cutscene video for my game. Could also be a lot to do with eye strain. Well I don't want to over do it so I'm outta here. Think I'll join the cat and curl up on the bed and listen to Lisle. Take care for now.
